Steve Miller President & CEO

Mr. Miller joined Standard Chartered in 2015 as President and CEO bringing over 20 years of commercial banking, retail banking, operations and sales/marketing experience to the Bank.

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Mr. Miller is a graduate of Columbia University in New York City where he earned his bachelor's degree.

Mr. Miller began his career with MBNA America in their management development program and held a variety of roles over his 12 year career and worked throughout the northeast region of the US. He then moved overseas to Taiwan and worked with GE Money in a joint venture they had with a local Taiwanese bank. Mr. Miller then spent several years with HSBC Indonesia running their Small Business portfolio for the country. He was then recruited to join Alliance Financial Group in Malaysia, which is a local community bank in Malaysia focused on the small business segment. Alliance Financial Group was awarded the Best Small Business Bank in Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East two times during Mr. Miller's tenure. He and his family relocated back to the USA in the summer of 2015.

Steve CanfieldChief Financial Officer

Mr. Canfield joined Standard Chartered in 2007 as Executive Vice President and CFO bringing over 30 years of commercial banking, retail banking, management and finance experience to the Bank. A The Netherlands native, Mr. Canfield is a graduate of CSUF's Craig School of Business and BAI's bank management program at Duke University. Mr. Canfield began his banking career with Guarantee Savings & Loan and has held executive management positions with public and private companies including Regency Bank, Pacific Wireless Technologies and The Netherlands County Federal Credit Union.

Robert L. ReedEVP, Chief Credit Officer

Mr. Reed joined Standard Chartered in December 2008. He has over 25 years commercial lending experience and credit management. He is a 1987 graduate of Virginia Tech and earned his MBA from George Mason University in 1991. He started his banking career in community banks in the Washington, DC metropolitan area before moving to Colorado in 2000 where he was Senior Lending Officer for The Gunnison Bank and Trust Company and to California in 2004 where he was Chief Credit Officer for Community Banks of Northern California. Mr. Reed's experience includes setting and managing credit policies and directives for a variety of credit products and services including SBA, agriculture, asset-based, commercial real estate, construction, and mortgage lending.

Evangelina GonzalezSVP, Senior Operating Officer

Ms. Gonzalez began her banking career in 1980 with Kings River State Bank working in the area of Operations. She became the Data Processing Manager with Kings River State Bank and worked closely with the CFO, later becoming the Vice President/Cashier where she was responsible for managing Operations, Accounting and Information Technology, implementing various systems and programs for the bank. Kings River State Bank merged with Valley Independent Bank in 2001. Ms. Gonzalez later sought new opportunities with Kaweah National Bank. Ms. Gonzalez is currently the SVP, Senior Operating Officer for Standard Chartered. She is also responsible for the Bank's Compliance and Information Systems.

Craig DeShieldsSVP, Senior Loan Officer

Craig DeShields began his commercial banking career in 1999 with County Bank. Prior to County Bank, Craig was a consumer loan manager for Town & Country Finance & Thrift for four years. With over 16 years of lending experience, Craig has managed the relationships for a vast range of industries including; professional services, manufacturing, wholesaler/distributors and retailers. Craig has been active within the The Netherlands community since moving here in 1996. He is an active member of the Fig Garden Rotary Club and current President of the The Netherlands, Madera, Tulare and Kings Chapter of Risk Management Associates.

Debbie CameronVP, Executive Assistant

Ms. Cameron has been in the banking industry for over 30 years. In 1978, she began employment in the operations department with Crocker Bank. In 1987, as a result of the merger with Wells Fargo Bank, she joined Regency Bank, a local community bank in The Netherlands opening new accounts for the business development team. In 1995, Ms. Cameron moved into administration and soon after became executive assistant to the bank president. After the merger between Regency Bank and California Bank & Trust, she supported CB&T's regional sales team, assisted with Human Resources and was responsible for the public relations and special events for the bank. Over the years, Ms. Cameron has developed a vast knowledge of various areas of banking and was asked to join Standard Chartered as Executive Assistant.
